Dogwood Springs Ranch is located in the northeast corner of Tennessee in the Appalachian Mountains. We are just 2.4 miles northeast of Butler, TN and Watagua Lake, on Hwy 67.

From Hwy I-26 - Johnson City, TN
- Exit Hwy I-26 at the Exit 24, Hwy 67 East, toward Elizabethton and Mountain City
- Follow the Hwy 67 signs through Elizabethton. You have to make some turns at stop lights
- After you go through Elizabethton you will come to Hampton, Hwy 67 makes a left turn after McDonalds and just before the Shell station.
- Stay on Hwy 67 to Butler / Mountain City. (DO NOT take the turn off to go to Boone, NC!) After you cross the bridge, over Watuaga Lake, at the top of the hill you will enter into Johnson County. (cellular tower)
- When you get to Butler, stay on Hwy 67 - and go 2.4 miles. (If you go past Watson's Grocery, on the right, you have gone to far.)
- Turn Left onto Smith Dugger Road, after the Becky's Ceramic sign, at Trail Ride and Watauga Lake Realty signs.
- Continue straight onto Wilderness Trail Ln. As you approach the entrance to the property you will see the pastures and a red barn ahead on the right. You will be entering Dogwood Springs Ranch. Go just past the red barn and park in the grassy area below the log cabin across for the red barn. Please park heading your vehicle into the logs. Go to the red barn to register for your trail ride or ring the bell for assistance.

From Mountain City, TN
- Take Hwy 67 west toward Johnson City, TN
- Approximately 13 miles from the Rit Aid. Look for the Mile Marker 4 (mile markers have white numbers on a green background on a 4' post) - go past Watson's Grocery, on the left. Turn right at the Trail Ride and Stone Mountain Realty, sign on the right side of Hwy 67.
- Continue straight onto Wilderness Trail Ln. As you approach the entrance to the property you will see the pastures and a red barn ahead, on the right. Go just past the red barn and park in the grassy area below the log cabin. Please park heading your vehicle into the logs. Go to the red barn to register for your trail ride.
